The first computer visual graphics task assigned in university was to recreate a movie scene in Rhino and to render it with V-Ray. The chosen scene was the metal-free prison in the movie X-Men, which contains a wide variety of opacities and lights.
The first picture depicts the interior objects in the scene, including a self-made chess board and futuristic glass furniture. The second picture depicts the exterior assembly of the prison, with the plastic structure and retractable corridor. Screenshots from the movie are shown in the middle.
