As an introductory project to the school of architecture, the exercise was intended to test creativity skills and introduce the idea of process.
The staged execution started with a creation of pattern, rhythmicity and tension through the technique of collage. This was followed by a 3D morphing process, in which the project had to articulate the concept elements from the collage and translate them into a volumetric, surreal shape.
