On the new South Terminal addition, my involvement in the project varied depending on the urgency of each package. Predominantly, I was involved with the GA and the interior package.
An important exposure I had during this time was toward detail design. At some point, I was in charge with designing a bespoke wall (an enclosed system) that had to host multiple Fan Coil Units in special conditions, such as a secure system that separates both sides of the room and a frame that allows for an eventual full build-up of the wall. The system also had to fit operable and lockable doors and metal grilles. The design exercise lasted a few of weeks and involved product specification and coordination between disciplines.
